उत्तरप्रदेश में सीतापुर से लगभग 73 किलोमीटर दूर अटवा कुरसठ गाँव आता है | इसी गाँव के शिव मंदिर में चढ़ती है शराब और लई |

और यही नहीं बन्दर इन्हें बढे शौक से खाते है और पीते हैं |

बरसो से भक्त यहाँ पे यही प्रसाद चढाते आ रहे हैं और शिवजी के साथ बन्दर भी ग्रहण करते हैं |

आइये जानते हैं इस मंदिर की कुछ ख़ास बाते :

1. ये शिव मंदिर पुरी तरह से खुला हुआ है अर्थात इस मंदिर में कोई दरवाजा या खिड़की नहीं है |
2. जंगल में होने के कारण इस मंदिर की देखभाल के लिए कोई पुजारी नहीं है | यहाँ पे सब अपने हिसाब से आते हैं और पूजन करते हैं | यहाँ जाने के लिए सबको अपने ही साधन प्रयोग करना होता है |
3. यहाँ पर बन्दर बहुत है और ये लोग मदिरा और लई का भोग लगाते हैं |
4. मिटटी या प्लास्टिक के ग्लास में शराब शिवलिंग के पास रखा जाता है जिसे बन्दर जाके पी जाते हैं और लाई खा जाते हैं |
5. इस शिव मंदिर को सन 1992 में राजेश कुमार सिंह ने बनवाया था और इनका नाम यहाँ लिखा हुआ है |
6. मंदिर बनाने वाले कारीगर का नाम (राम गुलाम सिंह सूर्यवंशी )भी यहाँ पे लिखा हुआ है

Atwa Kursath village is about 73 km from Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh. Liquor and Laai(a food) are offered in the Shiva temple of this village.

And not only this, monkeys eat and drink them with great passion.

Since many years, devotees have been offering this prasad here and monkeys also take it along with Shiva.

1. This Shiva temple is completely open i.e. there is no door or window in this temple.
2. Being in the forest, there is no priest to take care of this temple. Here everyone comes and worships according to their own comfort. Everyone has to use their own means to go here.
3. There are many monkeys here and they drink the liquor offered by devotees.
4.  Liquor is kept near the Shivling in clay or plastic glasses, monkey come and drink the wine and eat the laai food. 
5. This Shiva temple was built by Rajesh Kumar Singh in the year 1992 and his name is written here.
6. The name of the artist is also written here who built the temple (Ram Ghulam Singh Suryavanshi) .
