 There are many people who are confused with the term physical activities and exercises. Some think that if we work regularly then we will keep ourselves fit and fine, some think that if we perform exercise daily then there is no need to perform physical activities.

So it is necessary to understand the difference between exercises and physical activities. Only proper knowledge can change our lifestyle.

Whatever we perform to do our daily routine works like as movements, handling car, washing dishes, etc comes under physical activities which is not planned but is necessary to perform works.
But if we talk about exercises then we can say that in this we perform physical activities in a planned manner to boost our muscles power, body power, to burn calories more etc.

In exercise we repeat a same movement for some time to enhance stamina and power where as in physical activity we don’t give extra focus in movements.

In exercise calorie is burnt normally where as in exercises more calorie is burnt so it helps in losing weight too.

Physical activities are good for over all health where as exercises is necessary to enhance physical power, fitness, stamina.

There are many benefits of Exercises:

  • It is good for heart health.
  • It is good for muscular power.
  • It maintains flexibility to our whole body.
  • It must be kept in mind that both physical activity and exercise are necessary to live a good life.  So don’t think that if we do physical work whole the day then we are fit , it is necessary to perform exercises too daily to take other benefits.

Some Tips To Keep Ourselves Healthy:

  1. Do exercise regularly, if you are engage in sitting work for long time then do take break and do stretching.
  2. Perform eye exercises in break which will keep eyes healthy.
  3. Perform finger movements, hand movements, neck movements to maintain flexibility.
  4. Do participate in house work like cleaning, cooking, marketing etc which is also good.

आइये अब जानते हैं हिंदी में शारीरिक गतिविधियों और व्यायाम में अंतर को :

ऐसे बहुत से लोग है जो शारीरिक गतिविधियों में और व्यायाम को लेकर उलझन में रहते हैं. कुछ को लगता है की अगर हम शारीरिक श्रम ज्यादा करते हैं तो व्यायाम की जरुरत नहीं , कुछ को लगता है की अगर हम व्यायाम सुबह शाम करते हैं तो ज्यादा शारीरिक गतिविधियों में भाग लेने की जरुरत नहीं है.

अतः ये जरुरी है की हम इन दोनों चीजो को सही तरीके से समझे और फिर निर्णय ले की क्या ठीक है और क्या नहीं.

जो भी काम हम रोजमर्रा में करते हैं और उसके लिए जो भी हाथ –पैर चलाते हैं ये सब शारीरिक गतिविधिओं में आता है. इसके लिए हम कोई प्लान नहीं करते हैं , ये एक जरुरत है और जिस काम को करने के लिए जैसे शारीरिक श्रम करना होता है करना ही पड़ता है.

जबकि व्यायाम में हम प्लान करके ही विशेष प्रकार के शारीरिक गतिविधयो को अनजान देते हैं.
व्यायाम में हम किसी क्रिया को बार बार दोहराते है जिससे की शारीरिक ताकत बढती है, उर्जा बढती है, कैलोरी भी ख़त्म होती है जबकि साधारण शारीरिक गतिविधियों के अंतर्गत हं विशेष जोर नहीं देते हैं.
शारीरिक गतिविधियाँ तो पुरे शारीर के लिए अच्छा होता है परन्तु व्यायाम से ताकत भी बढती है, शारीर का लचीलापन भी बढ़ता है, स्टैमिना भी बढ़ता है.

यायाम के अन्य फायदे भी बहुत है जैसे -

  1. ये ह्रदय को भी स्वस्थ रखता है.
  2. ये मांसपेशियों को भी स्वस्थ रखता है.
  3. पुरे शारीर में लचीलापन बनाए रखने में मददगार होता है.
  4. ये हमेशा याद रखना चाहिए की शारीरिक गतिविधियाँ और व्यायाम , दोनों ही स्वस्थ जीवन के लिए जरुरी है.

आइये जानते हैं कुछ टिप्स जो हमे स्वस्थ रख सकता है :

  • रोज व्यायाम जरुर करे. अगर आप लम्बी बैठक का काम करते हैं तो तो आपको थोड़े – थोड़े देर में ब्रेक लेना चाहिए और उसमे व्यायाम करना चाहिए.
  • आँखों को घुमाने के व्यायाम भी करना चाहिए थोड़े थोड़े देर में.
  • हाथ , पैर , गर्दन आदि का व्यायाम भी करना चाहिए.
  • घर के कामो को करने में हाथ बंटाना चाहिए जैसे सफाई, खाना बनाना, बाजार से सब्जी आदि लाना.
