Cooking oil is being used in every house, without it we can't imagine about cooking. In different parts of India different types of cooking oils are used like olive oil, coconut oil, mustard oil, soybean oil, vanaspati ghee, groundnut oil etc. 

Some choose cooking oils by comparing price i.e. some use cheapest oil, some give preference to taste, some give preference to health and so on. Soyabean Oil:
It is a very common cooking oil and is used widely every where. It is good to make balance among low-density lipoprotein (LDL) and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL).

Olive Oil:

It is very popular in south and contains saturated fats but it does not contain cholesterol. This is good for health but it is not good for deep fry. Coconut oil also have anti-fungal and anti bacterial quality. 
It protect our body from bacteria and fungal infections. It keep away fat from us.
Mustard Oil:
This oil is also very popular and is available easily every where. It contains unsaturated fatty acid and poly unsaturated fatty acid. It has low cholesterol and low low-density lipoprotein(LDL).
It has good amount of vitamin E and vitamin B complex so is good for hair growth. 
Mustard oil is good for asthmatic patients, It also controls gastro intestinal cancer because it contains photo-nutrients. It is also good for cancer patients.

Groundnut Oil:
It contains monounsaturated fat which control low-density lipoprotein(LDL). It is good for healthy cooking and also control fats. It is also good for heart. We can use it for deep fry too. 
Vanaspati Ghee:
This is a very common ghee which is used to make food and sweets in occasions but as per research it is the most dangerous for health. It contains trans fats which is not good for health. It increases the chances of heart problems. This is very dangerous for heart patients, diabetics, fat people. 
Avoid this every where or use in a very controlled manner or once in a while. 
Research tells us that it is good to change our cooking oil time to time or for different purpose so that body may get different nutrients and vitamins. Also changing in food oil not make body habitual of any particular oil.
